The CMEMS - Centre for Micro Electro Mechanical Systems, University of Minho will hold the second BioMatDevices Advanced Biomedical Materials and Devices Workshop, in 18th May 2019.
The workshop will focus on two main areas:
1. the peri-implantitis and its relationship with the characteristics of the implants and abutments
2. minimally invasive approaches - dental solutions (implants, prostheses, aesthetics, restorative materials, treatment guidelines ...), new engineering solutions (new multifunctional surfaces, short and narrow implants, surface functionalization, all on teeth, ultra-thin ceramics, zirconia adhesion, among other) and its influence on clinical success.
